DN Holdings' Approach to Sustainability
DN Holdings promotes sustainable management to grow as a company that builds a well-being future together with its employees and all stakeholders. In line with our corporate philosophy and code of conduct, we are committed to promoting sincere work practices and disclosing ESG information as a result of these initiatives.
Furthermore, under our sustainability policy, we have established a system to promote sustainability and identified key issues (materiality). By ensuring that our employees have a high awareness of these issues, we actively engage in addressing environmental and social problems, including the SDGs, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
Sustainability Policy
As a construction consultant committed to unlocking the potential of land and space, people, and society, we sincerely learn from practical experience, people, and failures.We continuously refine our skills and contribute to solving the SDGs and social issues with advanced technological capabilities.
To this end, we comply with laws and regulations, adhere to social norms and meet the expectations of various stakeholders based on trust, promoting sustainability management to become an indispensable corporate group in society.
The DN Holdings Group has established a Sustainability Committee to promote ESG management through determining fundamental sustainability policies, identifying material issues, and implementing specific measures. The committee is responsible for establishing sustainability policies, identifying material issues, and examining KPIs.
Key Agenda Items and Future Actions of the Sustainability Committee
Agenda Items for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 2024:
- Calculation of CO2 emissions (Scopes 1 and 2)
- Examination and trial of the calculation methodology for Scope 3 emissions

Biodiversity Initiatives
Dia Nippon Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd. has formally endorsed and registered as a supporter of the “30by30” initiative.
30by30 Goal
The goal is to halt and restore biodiversity loss by 2030 (Nature Positive), with the aim of effectively conserving over 30% of the land and sea as healthy ecosystems by 2030.
Regarding specific activities of Dia Nippon Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd., the company aims to support the expansion of protected areas across the entire organization, starting with related departments. This will be done through work related to developing and enhancing national and quasi-national parks, as well as conducting natural environment surveys (for animals, plants, etc.) that contribute to ecosystem-conscious projects, all as a construction consulting company.
Moreover, Dia Nippon Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd., is a member of ABINC (Association for Business Innovation in harmony with Nature and Community) and is supporting the “establishment of a certification system for evaluating private and other green spaces that contribute to biodiversity conservation (OECM).”
